Have TRD pro wheels and 265/70/17 tires, installed TRD off road Tacoma springs/struts last weekend in hopes to have enough space now to not rub the mudflaps but still rubbing on slow turns on the drivers side. Passenger side seems fine. I even trimmed a piece off of the inside where it was hitting the worst but still seems to rub. I've tried the heat gun approach but it's as flat as it can be up against the body. Anyone else have any tricks or will the factory mudflaps just not work with a bigger tire?
