Front seats don't fold forward?

Why don't the front seats fold forward? I do need the extra room for hauling on the passengers side.

It has been my experience that most vehicles don't have that 'option' unless it is a two door vehicle. The seat backs will fold forward in a two door to allow easy access to rear seats, but with four doors it is not necessary.

If you don’t have seat airbags, it’s a wire harness clip and 4 bolts. 27ft/lbs I believe

I would really like to haul my bicycle without having to pull the front seat every time. Maybe I will just turn it into a 2 seater.

This may sound obvious, but I have to ask. You are aware that the rear seats fold down to make the rear cargo area larger, and almost flat? I am confused by your statement "Maybe I will just turn it into a 2 seater.". removing the 2nd row seats, will not give you any more room, than folding them flat. And, if it is a bicycle you are trying to transport in the rear, why not just remove the front wheel when loading it. It will take a lot less room, length wise, and it would take a lot less time than pulling the front seat. It has been a long time since I rode a bicycle, but I am pretty sure they make quick release front wheel locks.

Slide it forward and lay the back part all the way back. About as flat as you'll get. That or get a roof rack. They aren't designed for large item transport.

I would say it's more of a tricycle since it has 3 wheels.

Now that I have seen what you are working with, I see your problem. That thing is a 'bit' more that a bicycle. Given its size, have you given any thought to using a trailer to haul it around. The trailer wouldn't have to be all that big, and if fitted properly, loading and unloading the DF should be fairly easy to do. And, with a trailer, you would still have the cargo area available for other items you might want to take on your trips. And you would also be able to take a passenger or two along with you.

Like a couple other members have said, take the headrest off the front passenger seat, slide the seat all the way forward, then recline it all the way back until it's flat. That's the best you can do, should give you plenty of room. If not, I think it's time to get a van down by the river!
