Most of my trucks I run without away bar end links, do you feel you need a sway bar to drive the vehicle safely? If not I say ditch it...

Youll be waiting a month at least before you get the links from wabfab... you've been warned. The guy is very shady from what I've encountered, and they are super expensive. You don't have any junkyards that you could pull from? Tacoma links will work to (95.5-2002). OEM is always better than aftermarket.

Shhhhh... He'll make an admin account here and ban you for that.

Just get the Moog lifetime warranty end links. That way if you break them they will replace them no questions asked.

You could also get in contact with a member named "Stick Figure" he replied to one of my previous posts about custom length sway bar links and showed me a picture of some pretty beefy ones.

The front sway bar links will greatly hold back front articulation if they are connected but does make a lot better cornering truck on the street. Under high flex they will almost always break. What you want to do is bring some tools with you so when you hit the trail you can just disconnect one side and you will have all the flex and they wont break. Just reconnect the one side when done with the trail.

I leave my rear connected since I have SS rear sway bar brackets which raise the mounting points on the axle. I can fully stuff both tires with the bar connected.

Exact reason I made mine to start with, I got tired of breaking the stock ones first on the street, and then on a very mild trail. I would always recommend disconnecting them on more technical slow speed terrain, as the added articulation leads to added traction and more stability in those situations. For higher speeds; freeway, dirt road or otherwise i like having a sway bar intact, and not worrying about breaking the link off mid corner.

thanks for the tips guys, i think ill go with what most of you said and just disconnect on trails. Maybe due to my laziness its time to get onboard air :D

And ya gotta agree with OEM, its only ever the aftermarket one on front left that busts, still going on my original on the front right.
