Front wheels doesn't work on 4WD

Hi all,

I have a 1997 Limited 4Runner with the A.D.D. I have the push button 4WD.
So been off-roading hard since 4 weeks (Mud, drive in into hole and hitting stuff with the bottom of the truck)

Here is the situation:

I push my 4WD buttons as usual! The Dash Light come ON normally! and I can hear the usual "CLICK" sound! BUT the front wheels doesn't spin! It's still on 2 Wheels drive. The same happen in 4Low as well.

I bring the truck to a garage and put her on a LIFT!

Engage 4WD and put the truck on D, rear wheel in spinning normally but the front is not spinning! So I grab the Driver side tires and spin it manually the passenger side is not rotating at all! Apparently if you grab and spin the tires, they should rotate reverse side at the same time! But in my case only the side that I'm spinning is rotating the others side has no movement!

So what can be the problems?
Actuator? Fuse? Vacuums? Relay? Transfert case?

I have not CEL also.

This hasn't happened to me (yet..knock on wood), but from everything I've read on this kind of issue sdo far, the first thing to checkare the vacuum lines related to the engaging of the 4WD system. This seems to be the mos common issue, especially when everything else seems to be "responsding"

First thing would have been to look at if the front drive shaft was spinning in 4wd when it was up on the lift. The fact the light goes on is 1) very rare in these cases 2) suggests the vacuum system is working as it should and 3) a signal that there is a mechanical fail in either the TC or front diff. Really need to know about the front D/S spinning to know which it is but probably the diff because of the wheel test. (I'm not sure what happens if you spin one wheel with TC not engaged and ADD engaged--it may just spin the D/S and not the other wheel.)
