Front wiper wiring issues

The other day I unbolted the interior fuse block and moved it out of the way to get better access to drill through the firewall. Ran the wires through, hooked em up, and everything worked great until...

The next day it rained I hit the switch to clear the windshield and nothing. I checked the fuse and switched it, its good. It could be the switch but seeing how i was messing with the fuse box, and not being too gentle with it, I figure I probably shorted the wire out somewhere. I searched but couldnt find much pertaining to the front wipers, and theres about 6000(est) wires running to that box so i dont know where to start.

Anybody know which wire(s) to check? Or if you have any other ideas that would be great cuz I'm stumped here.

Yeah, first you want to check the solid gray wire running from Pin 13 on Plug 1G of the aux. fuse box to Pin 8 on Plug 3A of the Center Junction Box by the steering column. Plug 1G is very bottom right as you look at the back of the aux fuse box. Plug 3A is a white 8-pin plug at top left of center junction box.

If that checks good, then see if the washer works and if wiper comes on with washer. That will help in further tracing the fault.

Here is EWD. It is from 2002 but it is identical to my paper '99 EWD so your 2000 should also be the same.

Try this and see if it help you. If you know how to read a wiring diagram let me know so i could provide you with one. (Never mine about the wiring diagram the durk has one for you)!

1. At the wiper motor, check for battery voltage on the Gray wire. With the wiper switch in the low speed position, check to see if there is battery voltage on the Blue/Black at the motor. With the switch in the high speed position there should be battery voltage on the light Green wire.

2. If there is voltage to the Gray wire but nothing on the control wires, check for battery voltage to be present on the Gray wire at the switch. If there is no voltage on the Gray wire check the junction connector by the steering column. If there is battery voltage on the Gray wire but nothing coming out of the switch on the Blue/Black or Light Green wire, the switch is faulty.
