Frozen caliper or something else?

This past Saturday I drove about 5 miles across town on the interstate (04 v6 135k). After a mile or so I noticed a slight shudder in the vehicle and steering wheel. When I exited the highway and braked the vibration got much worse and it pulled noticeably to the right, to the point I was a bit worried to drive it. After the light turned green and I took the vibration was gone. It does still seem to pull a bit to the right when braking but the vibration has not returned.

I have only had this truck since February and I haven't checked the mileage by hand, but, buy the panel I was getting 15.5 city and 20.5 highway. It's only been 4 days, but it is now indicating 14mpg city. Caliper, something else?

3-24-11 PO had rotors turned and front right caliper replaced. I don't see any other brake maintenance other than pads and rotors.

Ive got the same symptoms and issues going on today. I was just out there and trying a few things it appears my inboard pad is frozen.

I'm kinda hoping it's the left caliper. The guy I bought it from had the zero deductible platinum toyota warranty.

Now I've got the check engine/VCS lights on.

if it pulls to the right in braking, yeah there is an issue with the left caliper/brake components.

And go get it scanned.

Definitely the symptoms of a frozen caliper. Only way to know for sure is to pull the tire and take a look!

As someone else mentioned, get a scan done for the codes.

I should be more specific in case someone wants to challenge me... the left side would be a problem if the caliper is seized, not allowing that side to apply braking pressure like it should be.
