A 3rd gen was having contact between his sliders and his body. This fixed that problem for him

I installed mine today and it works as advertised.

I was a little worried about the amount of thread contact because I couldn't see threads below any of the nuts after I was done, 1/2 inch is the absolute max possible BL without buying longer bolts.

It seems to have solved my rubbing issue with 285's and the stance is a bit nicer with that extra half inch. Overall a great value for the money. Thanks!

if you don't have any threads showing, that's not good. As a mechanic there is a standard rule for bolts and nuts, two thread minimum showing.

I'm not too concerned about it. I'll do the re-tighten in 100 miles and maybe get a little more thread contact from my bushings re-compressing.

Just a quick question, I received my kit today and two of the pucks are smaller than all the others. Is this normal? This is my first experience with a body lift of any kind so I'm quite sure what I'm doing. If this is normal, where do the two smaller ones go? Thanks!

If this is for a 3rd Gen then there will be 10 Pucks. The two that are smaller are for the front of the truck where the radiator is. You will see them. The rest are the sides and back of the truck. Make sure you loosen all the bolts when doing this it helps allot. It did for me. PM me if you have anymore question I did mine about two weeks ago and it has been rock solid. So nice not have my slider bang off the body now.

Thanks for the tip! This will be my first time ever doing a body lift so I'm gonna research it a little bit before I just dive into it and make sure I'm not in a rush, thanks again!

Also, for this size lift do I need to loosen the rag joint or anything like that or is it just loosen bolts, insert body lift, tighten bolts? I read an install that mentioned loosening all this stuff and adjusting it after but I wasn't sure if that was required for this small of a lift.

I bought a 96 kit so I only have 8 but mine are all the same size. I thought small ones went up front on mine too.

Using the larger spacers up front won't hurt anything.

My press blew up my smaller home saw, and I wanted to get these out for ya quick.

It'll fit no problem (if it doesn't, I'll get you some front ones ASAP) I know the front on my 4th gen will fit the bigger pucks
