Red seems to be a pretty rare color for the T4R. I haven't seen one on the lots here since the 5th Gen came out (So Cal), and I go to the Toyota dealerships quite often.

I don't believe we've sold a set of BFDs in either color to a red 4Runner yet (to my knowledge at least, and I always ask every customer what color truck they have). You can be the first. :trophy:

If it were me I think I'd go with black. Black and red / red and black have always been two of my favorite color schemes.

If you have a side shot of your 4Runner I can Photoshop the wheels onto your truck too. Just send me the photo.

Quick question: Do you have pictures of these wheels from a direct front to back or back to front angle on the 5th gen to demonstrate how far in the wheel well these sit? Could be the camera angle, but from the following pictures the wheels do not look very aggressive ie do not fill the wheel well flush with the body.

Great looking set of wheels BTW. I had a set of 16x8 neg 20 offset Volk TE37x on my 00 4runner and 07 FJ and absolutely loved them.

Those are very good questions. I'll do my best to answer them here.

The white 4Runner referenced above has a slightly narrower tire with a taller sidewall than most folks might go with, so these parameters plus the camera angels give the impression that the wheels are more inward than they actually are.

The 18x9" 0mm offset BFD wheels actually sit outward about 1.4" more than the factory 4Runner wheels (the exact amount of additional outward stance depends on what wheels came equipped on your model).

Here are a few photos of another customer's 5th Gen with a little bit more aggressive tire size, and also some photos from different angles:

A different 5th gen w/ stock height, 285/65R18 tires and no wheel spacers:

I also have a full gallery of photos of the 17x8" -10mm offset Konig Countersteer Type X wheels that we sell. 18x9" 0mm offset BFDs sit outwawrd 3mm (.12") more than the Countersteer Type X, so this would be a very good point of reference too. Let me know if you'd like a link to some of those photos.
