Hello from yotatech.com. I have this for sale in the paper for $3k, but am running a huge cut for my fellow 4Runner people. I have had this truck up for about a month now. I am strongly thinking about keeping it at this point, and just running it as a trail rig. I thought it would sell much faster than this. Maybe i'm just asking too much, let me know what you guys think over here.
TRUCK NEEDS: new rod in engine (still runs), clutch probably needs to be replaced in the next 10k miles, this one has 30k on it. shocks are shot. new power antenna, my 98's was broken and i just bought a new one for the 94 so i took it ($20 at the stealership) the motor is fine, the track is not broken in side, just need to turn on the truck (with stereo) then turn it off and the antenna will feed in.
just bought 31x10.50 dakota defender ATs before the rod started complaining, they are on the stock 15's, they have 3k on them.
radiator was replaced with oem at 108k along with timing belt.
front right bearing has 30k, new power steering pump, about 10k on it. transfer case fluid and transmission fluid changed 10k ago. i have ALL the service records on this vehicle, i am the second owner and the VIN can be checked at the original dealership where all maintenance was performed from the previous owner.
INTERIOR:
brown cloth interior, the interior is in great shape, no stains in main cabin, few in cargo area, but has the factory "rug" cover that is clean.
lft rear panel over the compartment latch is cracked. missing cover over lft rear seatbelt. missing little "cap" around driver side door lock.
shift nob is from my 98 4x4 nob, i had a hurst "t" bar and moved it to the new one, couldn't remember where i put the old one, it's around here somewhere, so if i find it, it'll be on there.

kenwood 4.25 in front
no stereo deck (removed mine, accidentally threw out stock)
power everything except seats, no keyless/alarm system on this model
EXTERIOR:
windshield has a chip just left of the rearview, hasn't expanded in 2 years.
body has clear coat issues on hood and a little on roof. (forest green)
rt rear fender had old rust issues that OO painted over and are now coming back to haunt me, i just never got around to fixing it, probably a 3x3" spot just above the fender trim. chrome package, no rust or dings on anything chrome. body has VERY few dings though there are a few that i will pic this weekend.

I just went over the truck trying to make sure i got everything in here. I would love to keep this and play, but i'm a residential electrician and the housing market is to hell here in TN right now, so i've got to put this money towards the 98. i will hate myself in two years for selling this as i love all 4runners equally. i'm not trying to pull a fast one on anybody here, as i've tried to list everything wrong with the truck first. it needs work, but if you want a project runner this is a great platform to start from. honestly if i had the money i would put a 3.4 in it and be a happy man for the rest of my life, but whoa is me. anyway, i'm going to take pics this weekend after i do a brake job on my dads '02. if i think of anything else, i'll update. if anyone has any questions feel free to ask. thanks for looking.
