I'm looking to ship a 4runner myself. Who did you use, how does it work, and what did it cost?

I put the shipment up for bidding on USHIP (just to see what kind of bids I would get), but you would have to speak with Wes on this. He set up all of the shipping on his end. I can tell you the basics, we agreed that we wanted it shipped by transport companies that had received only 4 stars or better and had a few other specific requests. We went through Red Carpet Transports, who I think is a (head hunter) type company that finds hauls for other transport companies. Red Carpet contacts you and gets the details of the shipment (type of vehicle, lift/no lift, oversized tires, etc....) and based on that info, they give you a quote on the shipment. For this shipment from North Carolina to New Mexico, it came out to be $1305.00, door-door. BTW she is scheduled to arrive on 4/20 day!!!!!!! Coincidence, I think not!arty:

Man I get excited about waiting for parts, I can't even imagine waiting on a whole built rig to show up at your door!

Of course it has to show up on the day I leave for a week. Maybe ill see it on a trailer on the freeway on my way to the airport!..

Let me just say, remember the old sayings (don't count your chickens before they hatch, don't put the cart before the horse). Well, I was told that the 4runner would arrive tomorrow. I asked off from work, made the necessary plans, and now I have been called back, and they are saying that they will call me tomorrow. Because, things have changed and they need to pick up a couple of vehicles in El Paso and it will now probably be Thursday. I ....hate....hate....waiting....and I hate being late. :ybrick::AK47::lasercannon:

this is a really nice truck, very similar to my rig but with far more mods.

WHY ARE YOU SELLING?

I am just curious and hope the question isn't too personal. I am modifying my rig, have been doing so for the last 8 years. I will never sell it. This summer I am picking up a second car and shifting my 4Runner to a pleasure vehicle.
