1988 4runner, drive-train, 4x4, frame, manual transmission, clutch, suspension all in great condition.
Frame and body are rust free, interior is OK. Engine needs work/replacement.
It'll fire up but it won't drive anywhere (loud knocking as you accelerate)
Tires are new - 235/75R15 Goodyear Wranglers. (less than 3000 miles)

front bumper brush guard
hi-lift jack
manual locking hub 4 wheel drive
new tie rods, thermo, knock, and cold start sensors

$1200 OBO (I could reduce the cost and keep the brush guard and jack)
Due to rising medical costs (I tore two ligaments in my knee) and rent/living expenses with no income I am forced to part with this project.
I originally bought it knowing the engine was going to die on me. I planed on replacing it and upgrading other aspects. It is a sound vehicle otherwise. I drove it for about 8 months until the engine quit. I had planned on putting 2500-3000 into it (doing the work myself)
Then I tore up the knee and spent what I had saved to pay for medical and living expenses.
Now I need to sell the rig ASAP. If you know anything about Toyota 1st and 2nd generation trucks this is a very nice start to a project.
The truck will need to be towed.
