FS: 2007 SR5/Sport 4x2 V6 - 88k miles, $12k?

Hi All,

This is a feeler...

I love my 4R, but i have to admit my head has been turned by the Cement TRD PRO. Just love it...

So i went to Toyota see what my trade in would be. $8k. I walked out with tail between my legs...KBB indicated a range between $10-$13k...and i was hoping to be around the $12k mark.

Its low mileage (88k), religiously serviced every 5k miles, with no major mods (i only put on spacer and Daystar 3" lift kit)...the front bumper would need a repaint ($600)...but aside from that, everything is great.

I dont want these sharks to get rich at my expense..i have babied this truck...am I crazy thinking that $12k seems fair value?

Not sure if it helps at all but I recently sold my 2006 sport edition 4x2 with 125k miles for 8.5k. It had 5100's/fj coils and was in good condition. Easiest way is to throw it up on Craigslist and see what offers you get.

I think 8k trade for a 4x2 is "fair", the dealership will mke a lot on it though. You can probably get 10k private sale. Try looking at ebay completed sales for comps. As for the bumper. You can get a factory color painted bumper cover shipped to your door for like 100 bucks on ebay if thats something that will effect the sale price.
