I am in the early stages of selling my 2009 SRT8. My wife has sent the money in to the lien holder to pay it off and we are awaiting getting the title. In the meantime I figured I'd get this out there and see what kind of interest I'd get on it. I am located in Fredericksburg Texas, so anyone from the Austin or San Antonio area are close enough to make a short trip to come see it. I am available pretty much anytime to accommodate your schedule.
I've owned the car for 8 months and am the second owner. Before me an older man owned it and it lived in south Texas. It has just over 30,000 miles on it and it was garage kept before I owned it as well as since I bought it. It is in amazing condition inside and out. I am a mechanic and have been for 17 years. I take very good care of my vehicles and this one was no exception. Obviously this has the 6.1L HEMI and it runs really strong. It's currently got a 93octane tune uploaded and I run ethanol-free 93 octane in it. I'll list all the stuff it's got that I can think of.
- power everything (duh)
- satellite capable factory radio
- Electronic Convenience Group package, this allows access to the secret menu
and settings in the EVIC cluster (chime settings, light settings, all sorts of stuff)
- the EVIC cluster has performance monitoring, 0-60, g-force,1/4mile times, etc
- push button start, remote start fob
- rear Kicker brand sub option, very clean factory 10" Kicker sub in the trunk
- hidden speaker surround sound (you can hear them but you cant see them)
- front air dam feeds air to cool the front brakes
- hood vents/scoops are functional, they don't feed an intake but they are real
- rear trunk spoiler
- factory window tint, just dark enough and not at all faded
Things I've done, modified, changed or added since owning the car are…
- Magnaflow Competition cat-back exhaust, 3in diameter, stainless steel
- Legmaker carbon fiber intake and cone filter, one of the best hand made intakes for the Hemis, made to order and usually a waiting list
- Moroso PCV catch can w/ drain, Hemis are notorious for sucking oil here, this fixes that and allows an easy drain every couple oil changes.
- Diablosport Intune tuner, lots of options to change things and upload tunes
- JET 180deg. thermostat, cooling fan settings changed to accommodate 180deg
- Billet Technology billet "SRT " hood emblem
- Gorrila OEM style lug nuts, non locking and 1 solid piece
- Wheels were removed, cleaned and PlastiDip'd black
- Gas cap cover was removed, cleaned and PlastiDip'd black
- tires are 20in Nitto Motivos with less than 5K on them
- Mobil1 0w-40 oil was used before me and I stuck with that
- rear diff cluid was changed to Redline synthetic by me
- transmission fluid was changed on a "flush" machine with NO additive or cleaner, just cycled in new Mopar fluid, by me on a news BG machine
- coolant was drained and refilled using Zerex G-05, by me
- plugs were changed to NGK Iridiums, by me
- throttle body was removed and cleaned, by me
- new battery was installed in May of last year, prior to my purchasing the car
- all 4 brake calipers were pulled (during wheel PlastiDip'ing) and pads were removed, everything was toothbrush scrubbed and cleaned with soapy water, washed and put back together
- paint has been clay-barred twice, polished once, waxed 3 times and washed every week since I have owned it, I use Chemical Guys products
I am looking to get $30,000 for it. You will not find a lower mileage, unwrecked, mint condition SRT8 Challenger with the 6.1 Hemi. It will be a clean title in my name and in my hand soon. Let me know if you have any questions or want to come look at it. If we can work out a deal, I'll hold it for you until the title gets here. If you have the money and are serious I'll consider it sold, I won't ask for a deposit or anything like that.
