Apparently, per listings on Autotrader.com, if one is willing to travel, one can buy a new 2018 TRD Pro for less than what you are asking for yours.

I’ll use your Principle Toyota example that you posted above. Here is the truck and it’s accurate Sticker (dealer-posted asking price). It’s not listed at the Toyota-stated MSRP like your screen shot shows. It’s really more like $45k. Just FYI

When doing a cars.com nationwide search, you can see how truck sticker prices differ depending on the color, where the truck is located etc. The argument that a truck 600+ miles away MIGHT be cheaper doesn’t apply on limited run vehicles like the TRD Pro. Especially used ones.

Let’s also not forget I posted a 2015 USED TRD Pro for sale, albeit a very nice used truck. Here is a way more accurate comp. it’s not cross country, same year, same color, similar mileage etc. so I think this is more apples to apples here. And the one I posted for sale is cheaper.

It's actually not a bad price based on what I've seen in California. 2016-2017 Pros used are going from $42K private party to $48K dealer.

I thought about a Pro for a split second and now am in the hunt for a KDSS Premium.

On the plus side the Pros seem to hold there value pretty well.

Great call. To me KDSS is the upgrade not the TRDP badging, wheels and 1/2" Bilstein reservoir lift
