FS 2nd Gen 1995 T4R Limited. Manual Transmission. Montgomery Alabama - $3000 OBO
This is a 1995 Toyota 4Runner Limited. It has a DEAD 3.0 liter v6 with a manual transmission and it is 4 wheel drive.
The vehicle has 140k miles on it. The brakes are new. The clutch is new. The radiator is new. Everything on the vehicle was working fine and running solid prior to the motor dying.
Regarding the motor, I was driving down the highway about two weeks ago and all the sudden there was a loud bang and the vehicle died. By the time I pulled over smoke was coming out from under the hood and I was dumping oil everywhere. I'm no mechanic but it doesn't take to rocket scientest to guess that either the oil pump failed or I've thrown a rod or something. There were no "tapping" noises or any indicators before the incident.
The rest of the vehicle is great. Yes it is 20 years old but it has been a great vehicle and has been everywhere with me over the last few years that I've owned it. Usual scratches and wear/tear associated with a vehicle of its age. Both front seats have tears in them. Hasn't bothered me at all.
The bottom line is that I have a new job and a new life and I'm just to busy to invest in this vehicle or depend on an older vehicle at this point in my life. My loss is your gain. Come get it.
