FS: 37k miles 3rd Gen, White Limited...Flawless!!

For sale a one owner, clean title, 1999 White/Silver Limited that has always been garaged in the Pacific Northwest, Portland OR. Why such the low mileage? In Dec of 2003 made a purchase of a Tundra Ltd which made the 4Runner as a vehicle to take out on Sunday's and not drive as often. It also helps when you love to travel.
Seriously, no funny business here, true mileage! The '03 Tundra Ltd now has 56k, also for sale. That goes to show just how much was driven.

This truck does have the rear diff locker.

NO flaws besides a couple touched up rock chips that you'd have to look for.

There are no mods and it is all stock except for the K&N filter insert and factory bug guard.

Everything works with no issues, no squeaks, or weird sounds. All electric devices and motors work flawlessly. Michelin tires replaced last year.

I could sell this today if needed, to one of the many offers on Craigslist, but it would be nice to see this go to a 4Runner enthusiast whom can appreciate this vehicle as much as we do.

Ever wonder what it would be like to drive a new 3rd gen 4Runner again? Here's your opportunity.

For sale a one owner, clean title, that has always been garaged in the Pacific Northwest, Portland OR. In 2003 made a purchase of a Tundra which then made the 4Runner as a vehicle to take out on Sunday's and not drive as often as the Tundra. Seriously, no funny business here, true mileage! The '03 Tundra Ltd now has 56k, also for sale. That goes to show just how much was driven.

As you all may know, a "non-coast" Northwest car is the one to be looking at as there is no rust whatsoever. NO flaws besides a couple touched up rock chips that you'd have to look for.

What year is it? Must be a 2001 or 2002 based on the instrument display. I wonder what this will go for. My guess would be $15k. Per forum rules you have to list a price. This isn't eBay.

Yeah you can sell it however you want, but if you're going to sell it HERE you have to put a price down even if it's just a starting price.

$20k was a joke, right? What will hurt you is the age not the mileage. You have to find someone that really wants a 3rd gen (easy) and also wants low mileage (hard because of the proven reliability), so it's a very specific buyer.

But what do I know, I don't want to bash your thread. I think it's cool that this car exists. Good luck with your sale

You guys are ridiculing him, but there are people that want a low mile 3rd Gen, and from other sales I've seen, his asking price is very realistic. This one is also a 99' with the benefit of multimode without the burden of the crappy TRAC system. A rear diff lock would be a bonus.

I paid 18k for mine with 125,000 and with a SAS build. I think the price is fair if all maint. is done and things have been replaced as needed and its not a leaking mess from sitting around.

Thank you, I too think it's cool it exists. Better yet, even more that I'm still able to drive and enjoy it!

It's all a matter of opinion on how difficult you think it mayl be to sell. What's the saying? There's an ass for every seat? I could't disagree with you more about reliability or finding someone specific. This is the year for the 3rd Gen, including the rear diff lock, and yes.. low mileage. This truck has properly stored and has not sat around collecting dust, just low mileage, plain and simple.

If it's as good as you say, I would ask 25k or best offer. Consider putting it on eBay as well. You may find a buyer here, but you are going to get a lot of useless ridiculing by people that don't understand the demand or significance that these have.

My ideal garage will have a mint 3rd gen(one down), a mint Supra, and a mint FZJ80 just to name a few Toyotas that would be in there.

My ideal garage will have a mint 3rd gen(one down), a mint Supra, and a mint FZJ80 just to name a few Toyotas that would be in there.

My only complaint about price would be, why not buy one with a crapped out motor for cheap and drop in a JDM or low mileage engine. That's what I did and we're guessing the engine had under 40k miles on it when put in. I'm in it for FAR less than 25k yet still yield a low mileage 3rd gen.
