I have a 1998 SR5 manual transmission 3rd gen for sale, located in Chattanooga, TN. I'd like to get $1500 for it.
Appoximately 240k miles.
The engine runs great, and the clutch and transmission have shown no issues. Cannot be driven due to frame rust.
If am trying to avoid junking this because I'd hate to see a 1998 manual transmission and engine with plenty of life left go to the grave.
Vehicle is unable to be driven due to a rusted seam at the rear driver control arm mount and the frame.
Paint is faded on hood and roof.
Minor rust on rocker panels towards front of vehicle.
Undercarriage and suspension components have a fair bit of rust.
Some parts of frame have more extensive rust.
Since sitting for approximately 8 months, the engine will turn over, but not fire up. My suspicion is the fuel pump went bad.
The timing belt and water pump were done approximately 15k miles ago. Has Goodyear Assurance Triple Tread all-season tires with only 10k miles on them.
Muffler replaced approx 25k miles ago.
High pressure Power Steering Hose (metal one) replaced approx 20k miles ago.
I can look back over receipts to find exact if desired.
