FS: 3rd Gen 2000 SR5 2WD - non-modified - Atlanta, GA - Original Owner
I'm selling our 2000 all original 4runner - 227k miles - AT - Leather.
$4200
Link to craigslist ad below with several details but a few more i'll add for this forum:
2000 Toyota 4Runner SR5 - Original Owner
Good:
-All Original (with the exception of external tranny cooler)
-No Rust - georgia car since new
-Been in family since new (father in laws till 2014 - i've had it since)
-Very well maintained w/ maintenance records included
-Leather is in great shape
Items to call out:
-some hail damage dings on roof/hood
-original LBJ's (have had inspected regularly)
-original valve cover gaskets - leaks a little but not enough to make it worth fixing for me - get a few drops on the floor but it doesn't leak a measurable amount between oil changes.
Mechanical Issues / Major Repairs:
-Nothing major - but here are the highlights of things that either needed to be replaced or threw codes:
-188k last timing belt change
-195k - Jul 13 - Dealer replaced drive shaft and rear shocks due to vibration occurring while driving
-Aug 2015 - Cylinder Misfire code - New plugs
-Nov 2015 - Solenoid E Code - Cause: 1.5 qt low on tranny fluid due to my external cooler setup wearing a pinhole in the feed line (posted on here if you want to view the details). Remounted cooler, new lines, put better protection around bottom frame where lines were close.
-Feb 2016 - New starter solenoid contacts
-April 2016 - New alternator
