FS: 3rd Gen Adjustable Fabtech Coilovers

Hey guys,

Have a pair of adjustable Fabtech coilovers for sale. Took them off of my 2000 4runner because I replaced them with Toytec coilovers.

Direct bolt on.

Do not have spanner wrenches for adjusting.

Not sure as to the actual mileage on these guys as they were on 4runner when I purchased and I have had it for 12K miles.

I am not sure on that...maybe someone else can chime in.

Again, I do NOT have the spanner wrenches, so I never adjusted the height.

I do not think they need to be rebuilt.

I needed to replace my rear suspension as my coils and shocks were completely shot, so I decided to just upgrade everything and went with the Toytec Ultimate lift kit.

How would I be able to tell if they need to be rebuilt?

They can go almost an inch lower than stock.

They probably dont if they aren't leaking and the springs are still retaining their spacing. Easy way I've found is to see if the torque specs on the spanner nut is the same as when they were set up.

Thank you! I have never seen any leaking so we are good there. As for the springs, they I havent seen any decrease in the spacing, but I do not have the spanner wrenches to test torque specs, nor would I know because they were on the 4runner when I first purchased it and I never adjusted them

That would make it difficult to tell. You might be able to call Fabtech and ask, but seeing as you're only asking $350 it's not worth it. Make the buyer do it.

Do these have both top mount bolt patterns? Assume one is for 4runner/Tacoma and the other is for 1st gen Tundra?

I only have what came off of my 4runner...which is also for Tacoma. As for the Tundra, I have not heard of this, so if the Tundra does not run the same set up as a 4runner, then no I do not have the top or bottom mount for that.

To clarify J.B.'s question the top plates of some coilovers have 6 mounting holes on them. 3 are for the 4runner/Tacoma bolt pattern and 3 are for the Tundra/Sequoia pattern. If they have 6 holes on the current top plate then they are for both. 3 holes and they are only Tacoma/4runner.

Edit: After looking at the pics again I believe these have holes for both bolt patterns.

Thanks Rob! It does look like there is another set of hole on the top plate from the picture. I can take another picture this evening to clarify.
