This will be the official sale thread for my 1997 SR5

My parents bought her back in 96 Brand new and she has been faithful everyday of her life

Now with 223,xxx miles on the ODO she's only just starting her life

Its always been garage kept and religiously serviced every 3k miles (Oil, Oil Filter, Air Filter, Tire Rotation, Brake Checks) All done by my mechanic that lives 4 doors down the street.

I have all the service records on hand as well as the original window sticker

As of this weekend she will be freshly aligned and have her CV's rebooted with the intention that somebody will want to lift her

Its crazy cold her in pa and theres about a foot of snow on the ground so i haven't been able to go out and get good pics but will update that asap

Also, i will get her washed and detailed before i send her on her way

What might help your sale is pictures.

You first posted two days ago and in 48 hours you have not managed to post a picture up. It didnt start snowing here in Philly Metro area till last night @10pm. You had at least 5 hours on tuesday, 10 hours yesterday to get pictures up.

You might also want to post the VIN so people can do whatever they do with a VIN.

You might also want to try and SELL your truck instead of "I have no problem justifying that price just ask"

99% of the people dont want to text/call for more info for whatever reason.

-Limited? SR5? AUto? Manual? Red? Pink? Orange? Green?

If i gave your ad a grade, you would get a D-, how do you expect someone to be interested?

Hey just some pointers. I am sure its a nice truck if i had to guess. but i have no way of knowing. You didnt give enough info to go on.

I appreciate the feedback, I am only 21 so I've never sold a vehicle before but if anybody has specific questions id be more then happy to find out the answer. I also want to clean her up before i get pictures due to the salt
 
i figured so, since you are a student. i mean no harm for the advice. i have sold a few cars and bought a few from pictures that lead to a sale. you just dont know who looks at your ad...it could be the next new owner, so its in your best interest to be prepared to sell it. :) goodluck
 
The only new additions are TRD off road decals near the tail lights and black plasti dipped rims which can easily be peeled off
 
You need more info.

List items, dates and miles of when maintenance happened.
Pictures, inside and out. If it's garage kept, get out into the garage.
You haven't explained anything you have on this truck!

Help yourself.

The truck is 100% stock
I have all the maintenance record dating back to '04
which obviously tells you when everything was replaced.
will update thread with that info soon
