FS: (3rd gen) Hilux Surf “sport” rear spoiler (CA) - $350

For sale is a Toyota factory sport rear spoiler off a Millenium Silver ‘99 Hilux Surf. Has a couple of small dings and a light scratch on the top side, but otherwise paintwork is quite good.

Just got this in from Japan. After unwrapping I decided that this isn’t the direction I want to go, so it’s up for grabs. I reboxed it so it’s ready to go, or you can do local pickup in San Jose, CA. Looking for $350.

How does this mount? Do the mounting holes match the OEM ones and is it missing any parts?

It does NOT mount using the factory US spoiler holes. It mounts wider out on the tailgate, which doesn’t cover the US holes either. I was planning to mount it the same way the US one does using rivnuts which I will include with the sale. Wiring for the brake light comes out in the left leg, which is very close to where the wiring comes into the tailgate below.

There aren’t many parts to it. Just main spoiler which has the 3rd brake light in it. Brake light wiring has the standard 2 pin Toyota plug on it. There are two painted covers which snap over the bolt holes that are included.

How many bolts are there per bracket and do you have the measurement of the spacing between the two upper bolts of each bracket and the center-center distance between the two brackets? Just wanna check first if that will fit the SSR-G wind deflector bracket holes (3 bolts per bracket).

Also, i don't see the harness coming out of the LH bracket.

Sorry about the delay, I'm actually out of the country for a couple of weeks so won't be able to grab measurements until I return. But I can tell you that I saw no way to use a third bolt (like the US deflectors) just the top two, which I do find a bit odd. The wire harness is there; I just stuffed it down into the hole a bit when I was test fitting.

I'll grab some more pictures and measurements when I get back.
