Selling my 99 4runner, 2wd, V6, Auto, with 140,000 Miles. Bought new by my grandfather and passed down to me 6 years ago after his passing. It is a southern truck so no rust to worry about. Timing belt and water pump service done at 75,000 miles. Valve cover gaskets done approximately 15,000 miles ago.
The leather interior is in fair to good shape I would say. There is pretty heavy wear on the drivers seat bottom bolster and the center arm rest. There are 2 small holes in the rear passenger seat where my dog poked a hole with her nails. Other than that the interior is in good working condition. There are 2 exterior damages to the vehicle. 1 dent in the front drivers side fender, the paint did not break or crack so I left it as I did not want to chance having to repaint. The second dent is in the rear bumper which cracked the paint. I have been told the bumper dent would be an easy fix and could be done at home if someone were capable. There are misc scratches and scuffs on the Limited plastic trim which never bothered me. The truck does need an alignment and tires, I noticed this morning 4/3/14 that the drivers side tire was badly worn on the inside so I removed and placed the spare on until I could get it replaced or sold. **only 1 tire needs to be replaced, but I do understand that you should replace at minimum 2 at a time**
I installed an aftermarket auxiliary B&M transmission cooler to keep the transmission from going bad, which is a common issue on these. Other than that the truck is stock and has been maintained correctly.
I am selling because I am going to be moving and commuting to Greensboro so I would like a vehicle with better MPGs. I am open to trades but mainly looking for a 4 door Japanese car with a manual transmission.
