FS: 3rd Gen Toytec Front Coilovers

I have for sale a set of Toytec coilovers for 3rd gens. The shock is a Tundra bilstein 5100, and the Springs are 16" Eibach springs with 500#/in spring rate. With the lower spring rate they flex great offroad. Also just pressed in new lower bushings, as well as put on new upper bushings. Spanner wrenches included. Looking to get $550 shipped to anywhere in the lower 48. They are $709.99 plus shipping new from Toytec. The shocks have about 20K miles on them and the springs have about 1K miles on them. PM me.

1. Why are you selling them?
2. 500 lb/in springs, 100 lb/in less than what Toytec recommends for stock bumper trucks. What gives? How/why did you got with this spring rate?

I'm selling them because I've upgraded my suspension. Why the 500's? I put the 500s on there because I've been running about 4-4.5" of lift in the front. In order to get that much lift you have to crank the coil overs up really high. With the stiffer 600# springs being cranked up really high it rides like crap. Instead, I put a 2" longer spring (16" long instead of 14") with a lower spring rate (500). It rides a lot nicer, plus it compresses easier than the 600's or 650's which gives you better flex off road. These coil overs don't have any problem holding up the extra weight of a bumper and winch either. And how? I work at a company that sells a lot of springs. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Unfortunately those struts won't work. They require the coils to be flat on the top and bottom. The Tundra coils are rounded on the bottom (maybe the top too) and won't seat properly.

Oh i see, well it sounds like a really good setup, especially for the amount of lift i am already running then i wouldnt need top spacers. But I just cant do that price right now, i still dont have my winch mounted yet and well, its christmas.

No you could crank the coilovers down and get the height you want.

Yeah if you have them cranked down to the bottom they would give around 2-2.5" of lift. I can set them to the bottom for you if you want.

I'm not looking to buy as I already have Toytec coilovers but I'm interested in your setup. How are you running 4.5" and not snapping CVs like crazy? From what I've seen you wheel pretty hard. Also if I wanted to swap out my 600lb red coils for the eibachs later down the road which ones are they on the toytec site? I briefly looked and only saw the 620lb ones.

Also GLWS, someone is gonna be very happy, these things ride great!

KSWAY is correct. I had broken about 15 cv's before putting in the lotus axles. Haven't broken one yet. But my diff did blow up once.

Those 620 lb springs won't fit on your coilover set up. They are meant for a regular style spring perch, not the flat coilover type that is on your shock. The red 600's that you have on there now are actually made by Eibach. But If you want a different spring (color or spring rate) give Jeff at Toytec a call and they can do a special order for you. They don't have coilover springs sold by themselves on their website. Oh, and btw you have the best wheels out there on your runner.

Ah that makes sense! Thanks for clearing everything up and thanks for thr compliment on the wheels! I absolutely love them
