Hi all,
I have for sale very good condition Supercharged 2002 Toyota 4Runner.

I own this truck 4 years and during this time I do lot of maitenance and upgrade job on it.

few info:

2002 4runner 4WD Limited, Imperial Jade/Thunder Cloud Cladding.

By 4 years of owning I make only around 15k miles.

- SC with gauge on A-pillar ( new coupler and new oil)
- timing job done last year ( ~ 5kmiles)
- New radiator
- TRD Radiator Cap
- new oxygen sensors
- Valve cover gaskets
- OEM fuel filter
- new muffler and tail pipe
- sterring rack bushings
- suspension front and rear (OME 881/906 + Bilstein 5100)
- wheels ( motometal MO951 9X16 rims with BFGoodridge KO2 275/70R16 tires)
- new brakes ( TBU front rotors with pads, rear shoes)
- new spark pluge (DENSO # 5311 IRIDIUM Power Spark Plugs IK24 for SC)
- Pioneer Head unit with Navi, backup camera, hands free, USB,
sterring wheel control and bluetooth. also antenna switch ( good for car wasch situation)
- 2-way remote starter with LCD remote
- new transmission fluid
- new windshield
- transmission fluid cooler
- deck plate mod
- new power sterring fluid
- new differentials oil ( front, rear and TC)
- Lower ball joint was changed by prewious owner at dealer (recall) at 85k miles
- almost all bushings was replaced with whiteline ( except front control arms)
- new Engine Cooling Fan Clutch
- new Genuine Toyota 12204-62010 PCV Valve
- rear window roll-up mod

probably I skip something but
Truck is clean, few scratches and dings. no rust at least nothing you have to be worry, some surface spots.
No leaks on drive train.
Right now truck have 136k on clock.

1. New radiator
2. Transmission flush
3. Trans cooler

Did you save this after a strawberry milkshake incident?
Or did you do all this to prevent one from happening?
Also went through your older posts and you admit a lot of buying
salvaged/wrecked 4runners and putting some money into them and selling them on...Just putting that out there! And $8500 seems pretty steep. Less it has a clear title and you have all the service records. Even then I would price this at maybe $55-$6500. Unless the Underneath of it is in pristine condition with little-no rust. salvaged/wrecked 4runners and putting some money into them and selling them on...Just putting that out there! And $8500 seems pretty steep. Less it has a clear title and you have all the service records. Even then I would price this at maybe $55-$6500. Unless the Underneath of it is in pristine condition with little-no rust. No I mean if I plan to spend close to 10g's for a 17 year old rig I would wanna know for sure it didn't have any of those problems..I picked mine up for $2200 and yeah I've probably sunk that and then some into it but I knew what I was getting into. Sadly enough you never get back what you put into a vehicle.
I get trying to recoup some money after repairs/replacing things. But to charge that kind of money for red flag/questionable/preventative repairs is a completely different story. Cheers! :cheers:

I'd say this is a fair price if the miles are accurate with clean title and no major rust. since when does someone that's not even in the market put a value on something that's rare and in good condition..?
dont even bother trying to get the guy to come down on his price when you have zero intention of buying.

HI, all points you're asking I do as a preventive maintenance, when I bought this truck radiator was leaking and at this point was logic to replace it and do all service to make sure truck will run long time.
About salvage/wrecking 4runner, buying cars like that is a way of saving money. Buy wreck, removing parts you need and then sell rest of it to somebody who need other parts it's simple like that hope you understand this "method" For me it was best way to get SC in reasonable price. Truck have clean title and real mileage no accident and any major failure like "milk shake". Original engine and drivetrain. On toyota service history is done recall on LBJ at ~80k, rest of service was doing by my self ( I don't trust stillers).
Truck has no rust on body and some surface rust spaces on frame usually around welds, nothing major.

Aren't we all entitled to a opinion? Maybe I was just looking for a reference/selling point. I wasnt trying to get him to come down on price just saying that's what it's realistically worth if I were to make a offer. Also the 3 things I pointed out are a big deal if somebody else is gonna shell out $8500! For another $1500-3k I can get into a mid 00's fj without the frame rust/issues. Again it was not to be an ass just was looking at it from a mechanic state of mind. That those are some things that would raise a few eyebrows. Constructive criticism!!

No, I didn't change anything in fuel delivery system. All stock.
