Another 3RZ swap - Pirate4x4.Com : 4x4 and Off-Road Forum
1986 4Runner body on 85 4Runner frame. Clean/Clear title in hand. SR5 trim (Power windows, power door locks, Sun/Moon roof, altimeter). Interior is in good shape, no leaks from top or tears on seats, carpets. I'm the second owner, bought from original owner back in 2003 with 120K on the Odometer. 3RZ engine from a 1996 Tacoma with documented 123K miles. 3RZ went in @ 195K miles back in 2008. Truck currently has 230K miles. So engine has 158K miles.

-distributor style 3RZ engine with mini tube exhaust headers
-3row radiator
-W-56B tranny (Clutch/pressure plate/release bearing from the Tacoma donor)
-Marlin Ultimate Dual cases (Marlin 21 spline adapter plate, 2.28Front case, 4.7 Marlin gears rear case)
-Marlin crossmember/skid plate, two factory rubber t-case mounts
-Long slip front HD HighAngle drive-shaft
-Rear shaft recently re-tubed by SB driveline in San Jose, CA

-12" Bilstein shocks front/rear

-84-85 front Toyota mini axle (gusseted balls, bottom shaved and armored ala 4crawler kit).
-Wider IFS hub conversion with V6 calipers and Tacoma slip on brake rotors.
-Low pinion E-locker 3rd with 5.29 Yukon gears
-Springs consist of top two Toyota 79-83 rear springs + bottom 4 from Marlin import spring pack
-Factory Mar-tacked inner axle shafts
-Old school ringed Longfields
-Marlin Hi-steer kit (arms,links,stabilizer)
-Front brake lines from G&J aircraft. NO hardlines to calipers. Clean and out of the way.

-4Crawler 1" driver's seat lift
-shoulder belts installed on rear seats back in 2004. Doesn't retract and lock like the factory lap belts. Of course, lap belts are still available.
-CB radio with antenna
The bad...
-Tires will need replacing soon
-Crack on windshield right in the center--looks like a bullet hit. It's more of a star crack and hasn't grown in the last 10 years. Long story short, a week after putting in a new windshield, a rock hit on the interstate resulted in the crack. It doesn't leak and to me not worth putting in a new windshield.
-Dings/scratches all around...Not perfect, but it's a drive to trail, run hard and drive back home in comfort rig.
$8900 cash, no trades

Just recently paid registration for the year. No smog this year, but I will smog for the buyer. Truck is parked in Merced. I will meet on weekends only as I live in the Bay Area. PM or text 209-769-Five72Nine.
