2003 SR5 4x4 4.7 V8 - back up for sale now that I've found a suitable replacement'-)
Mileage is about 177k.
Full time 4WD w/4hi, 4lo, center locking differential, Downhill Assist Control, rear cargo shelf
Bought last year in Georgia w/155k - where it spent its entire life, minus the last 14 months in Wisconsin (1 winter).
Frame / Body very clean. NO RUST!!
NO check engine lights / etc. Mechanically sound. No record of any accidents/collision damage, etc. Clean Carfax. Clear title.
Well maintained (see below). I do have all receipts.
I have done the following:
Bilstein 5100 front and rear
Front set at 0.85
New OEM 4Runner coil springs
1/4" driver's side spacer
New front CV axles
New battery
New Centric Premium pads and brake rotors
Internal frame coating (rust proofing product)
Rust proofing of doors, hood, fenders, liftgate (only one Wisconsin winter)
Sport edition wheels
New Falken Wildpeak AT3W tires
New Dash from Toyota
Replaced all burnt out bulbs in dash
06 Headlamps
Synthetic oil changes every 5K miles
Overall it is in good condition. Remember it is almost 14 years old. It still has a lot of life left and passes Toyota (and everyone else's) inspections.
Exterior is almost free of door dings which is amazing for a 13 year old truck. Just a couple. Some rock chips on front of hood. Paint is pretty good overall.
Frame is exceptionally clean and rust free.
The interior is OK. Shows some wear and tear if you look close, but I'm pretty picky. Stains in the carpet. Minor stains on the seats. No smoke smell at all though so that's a huge plus. Some scratches in the plastic.
I can take as many pictures as needed to show whatever potential buyer wants to see.
What it needs:
The front and rear bumpers and flares were faded. Previous owner spray canned them and it's all peeling off. I was able to re-do the center section of the rear bumper, but didn't go any further. Just get metal off road bumpers and you're good to go!
Will need the timing belt and water pump done soon (180k is recommended)
This is my first Toyota and first 4Runner. I've enjoyed it and it has a lot of life left. More lift could easily be had. This would be the perfect trail truck or use it as I did - very safe full-time 4 wheel drive commuter.
Asking $6000. Any questions, just ask! I want buyer to know exactly what they are getting so that we'll both be happy!
