The stars finally aligned and I picked up a 2006 Tundra V8 4WD donor with 63k on the clock this past weekend. What that means is that in the following weeks my current 3rd Gen 4Runner setup will be completely for sale. I’m posting it early in hopes that the new owner will have a chance to see it in person prior to purchase. All parts will be pulled and require to be picked up as once I pull it I won’t have anything to deliver it in.
Setup:
Rebuilt 1st Gen TRD SC
TRD Long tube headers
Custom 2.5" Stainless Midpipe
Modified 2.5" Gibson Stainless Cat-back
Overhaul/tuned up 5VZ

Original Transfer case
B&M Trans cooler
Asking price: $4000 for everything
Location: Carrollton, VA (23314)
Details:
Supercharger: ~7K miles
Sourced locally from the original owner (dealer installed) with 100K+ on it, it got broken down to full parade rest and rebuilt with new SKG bearings new sealant.
Nose cone modified for oil change while installed
Dynamic TRD tensioner kit
7K OEM SC belt
Denso 5310 spark plugs
NEW OEM SC belt spare
Original box and packaging/paperwork
ALL original parts save for some misc vacuum hoses I replaced
I cut the static pulley bracket to originally install the "nose support bracket" but never saw the need to put it on but is included
Exhaust: ~10300 miles

Motor: 186300 miles
Original motor to the truck had a knock I couldn't fix/find. I had a known GOOD motor with 176xxx miles that I had from a '01 parts truck.
Before I swapped the following was replaced:
Timing belt/water pump kit
Front & Rear main seal
Oil pan Sealant
Existing oil pump with new O-ring/sealant
Idler pulley
Tensioner pulley
Motor mounts
VCGs
Manifold Gaskets
Pulley/Fan bracket/bearing assembly
New plug wires ~5k miles
Currently have ~10300 miles with zero issues
Mobil1 is all this motor has seen in my possession.
Transmission/Transfer case: ~208500 miles
Original to the truck (1997)
I purchased in May of 2011 and have maintained them since.
Transfer case has recent fluid change with Amsoil fluid
Trans had the B&M external cooler installed late 2011 and has had OEM Toyota fluid
I purchased the TransGo performance shift kit and new gaskets to install but haven’t had the chance to put it in yet.
VB gaskets, Oil pan gaskets, and pickup filter/parts were purchased to go in with the TransGo kit that will be included if I can find them in the garage after our move.
Engine & trans/transfer case will come with full harness and Motor ECM.
Seperation pricing:
SC alone: $1800
Headers alone: $1100
Header back exhaust: $1200
Full exhaust: $2100
SC + exhaust: $3500
SC + headers: $2700
Drivetrain alone: $1000

Used 96 front and rear driveshaft (I’m keeping my originals)
Used 01 transfer case
Used 98 trans

I’d like to sell everything together obviously, but am willing to separate if I have buyers for each respective part. I can take any photo you’d like and video of cold starts, pulls from a dig or whatever else anyone would like to see.
I'm in the middle of a shed build so the work will not start until I've completed it which I hope to be in 2 weeks as long as the siding and shingles aren't long lead time but I wanted to post early to gather interest to allow schedules to align to come check it out.
Work computer doesn't like forum code so I can't embed the photos I have at the moment. I'll fix this when I get a moment at home. Any additional/particular photos can be taken and uploaded on request.
