1996 Toyota 4Runner Base. Ton's invested. Drivetrain completely rebuilt or replaced in last 5 years of ownership to the tune of $10K+. I would drive this rig anywhere. No shimmies, shakes. Tracks straight and true.
Recent:
Full tune up
Plugs, cap/rotor, oil change, K&N filter cleaned and oiled, MAF cleaned, etc.
284K miles
2.7L 4 Cylinder. Rebuilt with OEM Toyota parts by 22RE/Putney Mach. at 240K miles
Manual 5 Speed. Rebuilt by Marlin Crawler at 240K miles
A/C blows cold
Blue/Gray cloth interior in great condition
Doug Thorley ceramic coated header and new CAT/muffler
K&N intake
Drivetrain:
5.29 gears front and rear. Rear differential has brand new Sierra gears installed and setup by Central 4WD in Santa Cruz. Needs to be installed. I can do this for the new owner. Currently running my stock diff while this one was being rebuilt.
ARB rear locker. Rebuilt at same time gears were installed.
Viair compressor and 2.5 Gallon tank
Rebuilt rear driveshaft less than 1,000 miles ago. OEM u-joints
Marlin Crawler short throw shift kit
Marlin Crawler HD clutch kit
Chassis and Suspension:
Camburg upper control arms with uni-ball
Tundra big brake upgrade front
Sonoran steel 3" suspsension lift (System 1.2)
3" body lift installed by previous owner
Rear sway bar removed
Energy Suspension front sway bar bushings
Goodyear MTR/Kevlar tires 75% tread. 17"x 35" (metric size, heavier load rating). Most of pics show old super swampers, FYI.
Stubbs Welding rock sliders. HD with KO (kick out)

A few trips to Hollister and it has the usual pinstriping that can happen when driving past tree branches. I also recently had a mishap with the passenger front fender when I dropped into a rut near a canyon wall.
Cons:
Needs idle air control valve. I may replace this weekend. going to run me around $200.
Front left fender and hood replaced due to fender bender from 2 owners ago. Previous owner replaced the fender and hood then repainted it emerald metallic green. Beautiful paint. I can provide vin for carfax. I never checked it. Damage was minor.
Rear storage panel a bit squeaky at times.
