FS: Low Range Offroad Ultimate Toyota ELocker Wiring Harness Kit -DENVER

So I ordered this kit several months ago and just got around to putting it in my '98 t4r with the factory rear elocker.

Long story but I won't need this harness. I'd return it but the return policy is pretty clear with a 30 day return and I am a solid 60 days out. I paid 179.00 plus some shipping and other charges and I am in it $197.74.

It is complete and really super nice quality. I am bummed I can't use it but it is what it is.

Would like to get $150 for it and i'll pay first class shipping to continental US.

Pic on request - it is all still in the box and looks identical to the picture HERE. this is the HIGH PINION style for retorfitting your 3rd gen t4r with a factory elocker.

I am located in the Denver, Colorado area.

Still for sale....

Also will probably be listing everything you'd need (electrically) to retro an elocker in to your 3rd gen and have it be 100% stock....4x4 ecu, elocker switch and all connectors.

Decided I am going to "grow my own" since I wasn't even partially wired in this '98 we built.

How much you asking for oem locker components

That is a great question....I have no clue what it might be worth. I realized I might have overstated when I said "everything" yesterday. The one part I don't have (since I reused it) is the short harness from the locker to the gas tank area inside the cab. That is Toyota p/n #82127-35100 and looks like it is 39 bucks from Camelback.

I have p/n 89533-35070 - the locker ECU and
p/n 84725-35010 - Diff Lock switch and
the 2 connectors from under the back seat that connect (on the vehicle side) to p/n 82127-35100 (harness to the locker) and the connector that plugs in to the 4x4 ECU behind the drivers side kick plate.

All this came out of our '99 and worked perfectly prior to the accident. Our '98 has exactly zero wiring for a locker so we are building our own harness.

125 shipped to SD seem reasonable?

Can you elaborate on why you didn't end up using this? Or a link to a thread I can catch up on?

Sure...I have not started this part of the build so I haven't put it in my build thread yet. We had a stock '99 with a rear locker - it met an untimely front end demise and the frame was bent. We picked up a '98 with a "seized motor" we were going to use as a rolling chassis and swap all the '99 parts in to the '98. When I got to the locker, I realized there was zero pre-wiring in the '98. There was no plug for the stock 4x4 ecu behind the drivers kick panel and no plug for the stock push button behind the dash. Rather than attempt to "pre-wire" it myself and use the stock parts from the '99, I bought this low range off road kit.

When I went to install this kit, I found that none of the plugs were correct. After some research, I found this on the low range site:

* Our harnesses are designed for the duel plug lockers that have 6 pins on the large plug and 2 on the small one. There is a rare variant that uses a single 8 pin plug. These are mostly found on 2011+ Tacomas though we have seen them on older models. Single plug lockers are not compatible with the Ultimate Elocker Harness.

You guessed it - I had a single 8-pin plug in my '99. The trouble is, I realized hits 60+ days after I ordered the kit from low range and their policy states 30 days on returns.

So I couldn't use the low range kit "plug and play" and without a ton of wiring, I couldn't keep it stock so I decided to follow the JWaldz thread and cut off the connectors near the back, spliced in 6 wires (I used trailer wiring) and ran them up behind the dash. I just need to get the 8 pin dpdt switch and connect to the battery with a fuse and I am ready to roll.

Actually far easier once I dug in to it.
