I purchased this set of side mirrors from Revemoto to replace the busted mirrors on my 3rd gen. They are painted in the K73 color code. (millennium silver) Unfortunately, the new mirrors were damaged in shipping. The pointed top of the driver side mirror punched through its paper wrapping and through the paper wrapping of the passenger side mirror and rubbed a bit during transit. Revemoto, being the great company that they are, opted to replace them free of charge and allowed me to keep the damaged ones.
I have repaired these to the best of my ability, and they look great outside of the minor scuffing on the mirror frame (black portion) on the passenger mirror. (close-up photo provided) You can also note the touchup on the driver side mount that I did. (photo has red circle over damage) This is all of the damage. It is not very noticeable, but as I am a perfectionist, I would constantly be seeing it, I am sure.
As you can see from the invoice, these are $500 a set. But, given the damage, the fact that I am basically getting these for free, and in the hopes to help a fellow forum member, the sale price is $225 shipped for both mirrors. (PayPal fees not included)
