400 miles on them prior to removal.

Very minor blemishes (difficult to even capture on camera), look brand new otherwise, no curb rashes or dents.

They worked just fine, but I wanted black wheels, so went that route.

p.m. me if interested. I have the boxes my other wheels came in with all the packing materials, but would prefer not to ship ($100 for shipping if you're trusting enough).

Face to face/cash (so you can verify and take them with you) is preferred.

If shipped, I'll ask for a certified USPS money order (written out to me personally) for both our protection.

Just an FYI if you haven't used it yet - you can PayPal under "goods and services" which comes with buyer protection. Costs 3% but has been worth the security in my experience. Protects the buyer more than the seller, but it's an easy way to have them pay, you receive the funds, send the item and it protects them should the seller not follow through (not that you wouldn't). Cuts almost all of the risk out IMO.

Good to know for in the future. I do a lot of person to person transactions (many through forums) and usually what I do (buying or selling) is a USPS money order. That way there's video of the person purchasing it (at the post office) and there's a record that can be traced on who cashed/deposited it. It's not totally foolproof, but I would think scammers would avoid dealing with postal service money orders.

I'd prefer to just find a local pickup buyer. Aside from face to face (that way people can put their paws on the item and verify it's condition) I've had HORRIBLE experiences with package services in the past couple of years.

The last few times I've received larger packages, they've been ABSOLUTELY beat to hell and back. I bought a full exhaust system from American Racing and when the box showed up, it was beaten so badly that it was torn open on one end and I had to call the vendor to verify that no parts/pieces/paperwork fell out.

Of course, it's always fun standing there having to decide to reject a shipment (or accept it with possible damages) and the FedEx/UPS guy won't stand there and wait for you to open each part and verify no damage.

When I bought my valences, I had them "will call" for pickup and I've noticed that even Toyota parts departments open EVERY part to verify no damage.

I guess what I'm saying is that lately (seems like it's gotten worse in the past couple of years), there's a risk that you might send something in good condition and it gets beaten up or damaged in shipping and then you look like a jerk when it shows up and the receiver can't distinguish between whether you misrepresented the condition of the item or it just got banged around in shipping.

I have the poly rings and packing materials that my wheels came in, but I was actually nervous they were going to show up and the boxes beat up (which they were slightly).
