Up for sale is the TRD Supercharger I had taken off before I traded in my '04 Limited 4Runner. It was dealer installed and removed. Its been stored in a dry garage and is very clean. I do believe that all the parts are there since it was professionally removed. It is possible that a bolt or 2 may be missing, but as far as I can tell by going thru everything, is that it is complete with belt, ecu for awd 03-04 4runner, thermostat housing & thermostat, hard pipes, directions, TRD stickers, and complete instructions. The dealer did cut the harness when they removed it, but the wires are color coded-so reconnecting is not an issue, although 4 ground wires were cut and are all black (again they all go to a connector that does not get plugged it). This is being sold as-is, but did work perfectly when removed (less that 20,000 miles of use). You will need to find a way to tune this for your specific vehicle! Shipping is included if full price is paid. Any other offers will not include shipping as this unit is very heavy and will ship in 2 separate boxes-1 with the supercharger, and the rest in the second box. I will accept paypal, cash in person or personal checks-as long as you are willing to wait 7-10 days for the check to clear before I ship. Also-all my shipping is done on Mondays, since I am off every Monday and can get to UPS & FedEx then. Check my feedback on Ebay (porsche944T) its 100%. Just out of curiosity, you can just bolt these onto a V8 with no other modifications? Is there any long term effects from putting a turbo charger onto a V8?

That's correct. TRD actually does not recommend any intake modifications with the ecu that comes with the kit. I'm sure an exhaust/headers would only help. If using a stand alone tuning unit like an AEM or similar, you could tune for an increased intake air amount. These do not affect reliability, just like the units for the v-6, which some people have installed onto engines with 200k miles on them. The v-8's are very reliable to begin with and the engineers left plenty of power on the table. Speaking of power, if I recall, the power was increased to approximately 350 hp, and 440 lb/ft of torque-really wakes it up!

I also have a supercharged 04, but since I am not the original owner I didn't get any of the paper work. I don't have anything!
Before you sell would you make a copy of the stuff you have? I can pay for you to take it and have a pdf made too is it's easier.
I can attest to how smooth the power band is and how much fun it is to own a supercharged 4.7 in one of these little trucks!

Are you sure you don't need a 2nd one of these??? LOL. I'll gladly scan and email the instructions for you. PM me your email address, and when I get back to work next Tuesday, I'll scan and email it to you, no charge. Theres a lot of pages!
 
So currently the wife and I are saving for her some "bolt-on's" if you know what I mean! I would get less grief from a supercharger!
 
Is a tune really necessary for it from the get-go or will it run fine with the included ECU? Might be interested in this so I'll put myself in the line after the other three or four people.

Thank you for all of the interest, which was more than I expected. I'm sorry for any confusion that occurred behind the scenes, as I tried to keep everyone in the order that they expressed interest in, just to be fair. I hope to get it shipped out early-as the sale went through late Monday, and I do not want to keep the buyer waiting until next Monday (my next day off).
