FT: 4th GEN Flowmaster 50 series - Bakersfield, CA

Hey guys,

2006 4Runner V8

My wife has just started driving the truck and wants a bit of a quieter ride.

I am looking to trade my Flowmaster 50 series muffler w/o resonator w/ dual tips coming out to the side for a stock exhaust for the truck. Not sure how it would work out, but willing to meet someone up to get it done at a shop. I love this sound of the truck, but as my wife will be driving it, I am having to give it up.

I am willing to pitch in on labor cost (reasonable amount).

The muffler along with the routed to the side dual tips have been on the truck approximately 6 months. California, so no snow, no salt, no rust.

These are the only two pictures I can find at the moment, but I can take more specific ones if someone needs it.

I havent thought of shipping it yet. Right now its on the truck and it sounds aggressive with the Volant intake that I have. Right now hoping to just swap it out with someone for stock. If that doesnt work then will have to buy the stock and then will put this on sale for shipment.

If I was driving the truck, i would never take it off. Sounds aggressive (without being ricey). My wife it driving it so it doesnt work for us as she just wants a quiet SUV.

Sorry for the late reply bro, I was out of town for work.

So I have talked to a local shop and will be getting the Flowmaster taken off and the resonator replaced this weekend.

I will be putting the items up for sale once I get it done. I am pretty sure that the flowmaster will work on your 2004 but you can always call your local muffler shop to be sure (Flowmaster 50 series).
