so today while shopping at tractor supply store..

i came across to the lucas fuel injector cleaners, and was wondering has anyone used it in their rigs?

if so, did you notice any difference with it? better fuel economy? better idle? pros and cons?

i used to run chevron fuel injectors cleaners when they are on sale at Costco.. but now that is not on sale anymore.. I want to give lucas an try..

thanks.

Im a bigger fan of seafoam. You don't have to go all out and put it through the throttle body but I occasionally run a can through the gas. Never had an injector issue. (knock on wood)

I did use lucas in my 94 Chevy pickup and it didn't really like it.

Not bad stuff. It works. Cheap. But....

I would try BG 44k first (can be found on Fleabay), or Redline Fuel Injection cleaner.

I don't notice a difference, I figure the stuff is all the same. But I've been using the Lucas for a while now. I take it from work and do 1 tank a month.

I would with stick to a cleaner that has a higher concentration of PEA, such as the Redline SI-1 or the Chevron Techron concentrated fuel system cleaner. Don't confuse the costco chevron cleaner for this one, I think this one has a much higher concentration of PEA, which is a pretty good cleaner from what I understand.
