Fuel Injector Hose leak - best temporary fix

Hi,

I recently somehow got a leak in my fuel injector hose line at the connector. Toyota told me there is only one of these replacement parts located in the US right now and they would have to order me one which will take a few weeks. Is there a temporary fix I can do to stop the leak?

Unfortunately there's nothing that I could think of that would work or be safe.

would you still consider it safe to drive on until the new part gets here?

I'd be verrrrrry cautious about driving with a fuel leak. Is there any way you can park your truck until the part shows up?

Aside from that, could you find some fuel hose (make sure it's the high pressure stuff) that fits snugly over the metal tube? Put that on and worm clamp it just past the flare in the tube, then cut the connector off the existing hose and splice the hoses together (barbed coupler and more worm clamps). I wouldn't want to use that as a permanent fix, but it might be safer than spraying fuel out a leaking connector...

Uhhh, unless you like the risk of fire and your insurance not covering it, I would park it!
