fuel reserve light

My fuel light comes on at around 200 miles on the clock, the most i have ever got in the tank is just over 13.1 gallons. I figure i am averaging 16 miles per gallon by doing the math each time i fill up. Everything i have found says the 2000 4 runner has a 18.5 gallon tank. Does this mean i still have 5 gallons left in reserve ?
I have never run it out of fuel, just get fuel when the light goes on.
Trying to figure out what my real world extended driving distance is.
Any help would be appreciated.

2000 sr5 5 speed slush box with trd headers and 265/75/16 tires. She has 260,000 miles on the clock.

This is a known issue on these vehicles. I have the same thing on mine. I know that when the light comes on I've got about 3-4 gallons of gas left, so I never drive more than about 25-35 miles once the light comes on. You can replace the sending unit in the tank and the circuit board behind the cluster, but that will cost you several hundred dollars. I just keep an eye on my mileage, and really never let the light come on. I usually fill up when it drops below 1/4 tank.

I have a 96 limited automatic. This screen shot will give you an idea of how many miles I go and how many gallons each fill-up takes. My fuel light usually comes on just before 300 miles.

Is it safe to say there is at least 4 gallons after the light goes on ? or at least 60 miles.
5vz gets crappy milage, and the tank is way too small, but, the engine is bullet proof and has proven its self.

Thank you for the insight gentleman.
