So, I just realized this is designed for a 1" body lift... And it doesn't look like it would be easy to modify for no body lift.

I'm not sure I could pull that one off, but I'd certainly sell the prototype bumper pieces if you wanted to use them - would be perfect for 1.5" BL..

Life has trade offs. Looking at the pros/cons I thought I was taking the smart way out. Still do. Depending on what you are doing they can make a lot of sense.
Just making the triple sticks set up easier was worth it all.

We'll have to revisit the 2" BL fitment once you get this thing in production. If your rear bumper with removable swing out turns out the way I'm thinking, then it's definitely the style I've been waiting for.
Just bought part number F1G1FA off rockauto. Was the same manufacturer as the same complete kit off Napa but $200 cheaper. Tank, pump, sender and straps.
Next paycheck I’ll probably buy Keith’s fuel tank brackets. Do the brackets work with stock straps? I remember a post about straps somewhere in this post.
Working with deaver springs to get a pair of leaf springs for the rear of my truck to soon.
Hoping to do this conversion and leaf spring swap this spring / summer and be up and running by Halloween.

Yes sir - you just have to trim and slot one end of the Ford straps (lower) - actually, you won't, since you're not running a panhard bar.
I was just under my 4Runner day dreaming about cutting out cross members and removing the fuel tank and looked at the cross member the panhard bar attaches to.
Is that the crossmember the front mounts your fuel tank relocation brackets mount to? I hope not cause I want to cut that one out too.

Yep! - and I'd leave it, as much as the rear of the frame flexes I'd be hesitant to remove anything structural back there..

Also, got me a pair of deaver leaf springs. Since I last posted. Just need to pick them up.

lol. i'm part shopping for the latch setup for swing out. i figured out how i'm going to do that mount in similar style as bumper. bumper and hitch will be done this weekend :guitar2:
