Fumoto Oil Drain Valve leaks?

I recently changed to this valve when doing my regular service.

Drove it maybe 10 miles and overnight noticed that there were spots of oil on the floor...went under again and tightened a little bit more; checked valve to make sure its fully closed.

Will check tomorrow if that did anything, but wondering if anyone else had any issues?/

Nope. Been running Fumoto since first oil change (6 years ago) and never a problem. Are you sure you installed valve correctly? With seal and straight?

I've had mine on for 3 months now and not a single drop. Did you make sure you got the original crush washer off before putting it on? Sometimes they stick to the oil pan and can cause leaking.

This is one of many mods in the works, but I did install one on my Civic about 3 years ago. No leaks, no problems, no regrets.

I have had them on two different vehicle and never any issues. Zero zilch nada. No concerns about using them again as I just put one in my 4Runner. So much easier for oil changes

No leaks on my WRX after 3k miles and hear nothing but good things from others. I would only put it on my engine oil pans tho. No other fluids are changed enough to use them anywhere else IMO.

Will install one on the runner next change probably.

Thought about it but with separate drain and check plugs, seems like it doesn't really solve anything that you can't do with a funnel. Since ATF flushed are pretty infrequent, just would deal with the mess.

Also have concerns that there is enough space since the drain plug is slight recessed (going off memory).

No leaks on mine. But that doesnt mean that you didnt get a dud. Just keep an eye on it. It would suck if you had to remove it.
