Fumoto valve question

I'm about to do a bunch of 30K maintenance on my '05 4Runner, and I have a Fumoto valve to install for my oil changes. I also have a new oil pan washer that I had gotten from the stealer (before I decided to put on the Fumoto).

Question: do I need to use the OEM washer with the Fumoto Valve? Do I need to put any kind of lubricant/ect/ on the threads of the Fumoto when I put it on?

My fumoto came with a washer, not the metal type, kinda like a rubber foam type, and I used it. I would either use what came with yours or get one from auto parts store or dealer. I have used the fumoto with atleast 5 cars in the past and never had a problem until my current 4runner. When I installed it in my 2003 4runner I must have not tightened down enough. A small drip slight drip is happening so during the summer when I change the oil I plan to replace the washer after removing the skid plate.
