Functional 20"s???

Are there any functional 20" rim/tire combos out there for the 4Runner that you would recommend? You know, something with a good all-season or semi-off road? I like the look of larger rims, but don't want to lose any of the 4Runners abilities. I know some of the Dodge Rams come with 20"s stock, so are those capable rims/tires, or are they just to look good? Thanks for the help. I can't be the only one looking for something like this.

It will be very difficult to get a functioning 20" wheel/tire combo that can be well suited for the trails. Part of the smaller wheel/larger tire combo is so that the tire (which will have a larger sidewall) will eat up/soak up the rocks from the trails whereas a smaller sidewall will ultimately mean damaging the wheels (not good).

More tire and less wheels means better ride on the trails. Hope that helps. I would think that 18's would be as big as you want to go but then again for me 18's are still too big.

I have a cornfed 3 inch lift and am about to buy my tire rim combo too. I am going with american racing black 20 inch rims and procomp 33/10.5/20s. I do some about half offroading but nothing serious so this shoud do the trick. I will be adding the tires and rims to my truck in about a month so I will tell you then....

This is why I have a 81' CJ7 with a 350 and 40inch swampers...

Im going to use those 20s to get me there and the jeep'll do the rest....

I have 20' rims with 275/45, but I don't go off roading. Most people don't understand, not everyone uses there 4runner for off roading and most runners on here are 4x2 not 4x4. If you still want to off road don't go bigger then 18' rims, then you can still have a nice size tire. But I still think you can off road a good bit because toyota sells tundras with the 20' on them. It don't mean you can't off road, you just run a chance of messing up your rims or tires.
