Funny story, just for laughs - the things you find

Ok, so I was killing some time this morning reading posts, and one of the posts is about the mid gen changes to the '99. One of them was about double center console compartment??

I got my console for the swap from a rolled '99 or '00 and did not know about it. So I just now ran down to the garage and "pulled" without using the release lever... Happy days!!! Inside was a pile of receipts, a little pouch with $61 dollars, 5 condoms, a little container of hooch (I kept smelling it and just figured it was coming from another car ahead of me LOL), a lighter, a guitar pick, Chapstick, a sunglasses bag, some eye stuff and drops, Office Depot gift card, Starbucks card, cough drops, buttons, tooth pick thing (gross), a bandaid, some antacids, and a bunch of napkins.

I had heard something moving around when I opened the actual console, but just figured something was loose from when the guy pulled it out of the donor T4R. I guess the napkins filled the space just enough that I would have never thought about what was inside.

Holy crap! That's a ton of stuff crammed in there!

I didn't find anything good in mine. Just old nasty candy under the rear seats, and a couple dirty pens.

I found an iPod under the shifter bezel left by the PO. Unfortunately the PO was my brother so i gave it back to him.

Mine had a key and a bunch of coins, all covered in a nice glaze of melted Chapstick. That was fun to clean up. :/

Nothing interesting in the runner. But when my buddy bought a 95 civic we found a used condom under the seat and a mouse nest in the subwoofer enclosure. The sub itself had been remove by the PO

When I first picked it up from the PO, I wanted to give it a really good clean. I found a bunch of change beside the drivers seat, a silver earing, various pens, a Carrie Underwood CD, the ashtray was filled with coins, under the back seat I found a deck of poker cards and plastic ninja turtle. Two new lugnuts in the glove compartment. Oh, and when I was sanding the frame a week ago, I found a hide-a-key on the inside of the frame rail by the rear axle!

haha, i think your stoned, i don't see where anyone found any pot...it was just the visine,guitar pick and cough drops that made me think that..that and everyone has been doing nothing but talking about marijuana for the last week here in seattle...

haha, now i see it, funny, i smoked pot for years and never heard that term before, maybe i'm just getting old, or maybe they are just Canadian...tough to tell....:guitar3:

Come on now, lets not get into the whole Canadian vs. US words for different things argument. I've never called "electric lettuce" hooch in my entire life. hahah (I really dont call it electric lettuce either for that either...)

Although, I do call my winter hat a "toque" and I do know what a "chesterfield" is.

Yeah, I never heard it called hooch either. But, there was no whiskey in the picture and no mention of the film cannister, so logical deduction won out.

lol, nothing derogatory about my statement, or at least meant by it, i'm a British dual national myself and am well aware of the differences as canada and the uk have alot of the same slang and such.... but honestly never heard that before and sounds like something that someone somewhere got wrong and it just keeps repeating, haha, nothing wrong with that, but i don't think a vast majority of people would use hooch to describe that, haha...don't care that much , if i did maybe i would have looked at the picture harder and made the some conclusion as others haha....
