He wants pretty much a "new" price for the Gobi - or at least did a month or 6 weeks ago. Maybe he's loosened up a little by now.

Yeah. The unfortunate thing is that all the 5th gens are new enough that I doubt there are too many people looking for tranny's and transfer cases. And if you are going to buy a locker for your SR5 or LTD you might as well get an ARB. If you could get the Gobi for around 1200 we might be talking. Now if that is a trail maybe he can sell the hood.

Ya if memory serves he wants $2k for the Gobi...which is inconceivable to me. And he wasn't willing to negotiate much from there either.

I assumed it was a TE since one of the things he has listed on the part out is an E-locker. He told me that both the headlights were toast, so you might be out of luck on the hood...

You're probably right about that hood, but here's hoping.

Are they TE headlights?

No, mine are sr5. However, the only difference between the sr5 and te lights is the black bezel, which is is easily removed and painted once the lense is separated from the reflector housing.

it is not worth trying to swap in KDSS, from what I hear. I am going to be taking my sway bars off anyways.

SR5 and trail have the same suspension just different sway bars.

Not sure what it would take to wire it but the axle housing is different on one without it and would take some modding(cutout).
