Gap under headlight

Before I go using a heat gun or taking the bumper off completely to look for a remedy, has anyone ran into this issue? There is a significant gap under my driver side headlight compared to passenger, it bothers me every time I notice it. I have searched on the forum and even others but can not find anything. Is there a metal bracket that i can bend? Do I need to replace plastic tabs/inserts? It took quite a bit of force from me pushing up against it to close the gap.

If you pull the bumper off, really easy, there are little metal brackets right under the grill. If you bend the one on the drivers side up it may help that for you. Probably somebody stepped, kneeled, etc and bent it down. You should be able to reach it from underneath too, can't remember for sure. So looking at the front of your truck, it would be just to the left of the drivers side headlight. You can't miss it.

This bracket correct. Seems like it would help if bent up a bit. (Picture is taken from the bottom looking up)

Yes that looks like the one. I believe there are 3 across the top there, but it seems if you push that one up it should push that side of your bumper closer to the light eliminating your gap.
