Gears and Lockers input?

Ok, so I know several of you guys have gone to ECGS for your gears. Gerdo also recommended Randys Ring and Pinion.

Looks like Randys has Yukon and USA Standard,

looks like ECGS has Precision gears..

Im also not seeing a whole lot of choices in the 4.10/4.11 range on either site.

For those that dont know, my Ring and or pinion gears are missing some teeth... I have a 96 with 4.10 gearing.

Also, anyone have any thoughts on the Powertrax Lock-Right lockers? Im pretty much sold on an Eaton TruTrac LSD, but wanted to see if anyone had any thoughts on Powertrax...

For a road rig you have three choices. ARB, LSD or open. The lockrite is an auto locker. When you apply gas it will lock. On snowy roads, it'll put you in a ditch. Don't do an auto locker.

thanks for the info... I was still pretty set on the Trutrac after LINY4runner and FoneRunner both went with them.

The fact that they are clutchless and maint free seems to be a huge selling point.

Also for some reason I just would rather have an LSD In the front and a locker in the back on the straight axle. In my mind, I think the fact that and LSD will slip will save some CVs... I already thing having a manual transmission has saved several cvs for me and other friends with the 5speed.

any thoughts on gear suppliers and or preference in gear brand?

still wondering although it looks like I found a nice OEM setup from a friend.

I went thru a half dozen LockRights in about two years. It got to when I drove up the store would lock the doors and flip the closed sign over.
They work, just to many small parts that fail. I finally dropped some cash on a Detroit. Incredible locker, but if I were to do it again I would go ARB and wear out the switch on the dash
