Can anyone confirm that the NOCO Boost Plus GB40 1000 Amp will work for our big engine?

Also, if anyone has a suggestion for an alternative, I'd appreciate it!

I have a jump starter with only 300 starting amps and 600 peak amps. It has a capacity of 18,000mAh/66.6Wh, whatever that means. It is made by DBPOWER, and I bought it on Amazon in July, 2019. It is advertised as a 600A portable jump starter. The one I bought has been replaced on Amazon with an 800A jump starter for $69.99 and free shipping.

It says 600A are good for gas V8 engines up to 6L, and has worked well for me on my 4.7L V8. 800A are supposedly good for a V8 engine up to 7.2L.

1000A should work for you. The NOCO is ~$100 on Amazon, and is advertised as good for up to a 6L gas engine. I have no personal experience with NOCO, but I have seen their jump starters at auto parts stores like AutoZone and Advance Auto Parts. My DBPOWER jump starter was Made in China.

My father in law owns the Tacklife T8 800a and I used it with 75% charge to start my V6 and it worked no problem, the charge dropped to 58% after the jump.

I decided to pick one up and purchased the new version which is supposed to be good up to a 7.0 engine. Price changes depending on the color you choose, green was on sale the day I bought mine at $69.99 today it's orange that's on sale if color matters to you.

Amazon.com: TACKLIFE T8-Newer Model 800A Peak 18000mAh Car Jump Starter with LCD Display (up to 7.0L Gas, 5.5L Diesel Engine), 12V Auto Battery Booster with Smart Jumper Cable, Quick Charger (Green): Automotive

I have the NOCO GB40 1000 amp and it works fine on both my 4.7 V8 and my 4.0 V6.
I check it each fall and give it a top off charge since purchasing in 2017.

Audew

My mechanic did all the research and we ended up getting the Audew 2000A starter battery. I have an issue with one of my cars draining while it sits and so I have used this many times, never fails. I even once started my 7.3L diesel with it once. Super powerful, should be no problem with any gas engine.
