General AT2 Grabbers (Advice)

Yes, I'm actually running 2 BFG in front and 2 Grabbers in rear. Its a long story but 2 tires went bad early.

No bias on my end. I only have 1,500 miles on them and only had that one incident. I love the way they look, they are quiet, and they don't seem to hurt mpg too much since I get 21-22 on the highway.

The bias seems to be from people who have a need to defend a tire from any bad remarks. So Gay

I apologize if I came across wrong. I think these are great tires. I've considered getting them myself I just thought it was stupid to say that tire racks surveys were bogus info.

I just ordered a set of these... I am assuming it will take a week or so for them to arrive. So, I will let you know how they do for me. They are hopefully better then these SilentArmors on ice/snow!

Early Review

So... I thought I would post back here as a follow-up. I have installed the Grabber AT2s (they have been on about 5-6 days). So far I have been able to test them on dry pavement, packed snow/ice, and 2-3 inches of fresh snow last night.... They are an AT tire, so on packed snow/ice they are great - but obviously not going to perform like a studded tire.
Overall, I would rank the Goodyear SilentArmors about a 6/10; Grabbers I would rate a 8/10 at this point. They brake (on ice) ALOT better then the Goodyears. They look more rugged. Have deeper lugs which I like. Just when testing the two, I can keep grip in 2wd a lot longer than I did with the Goodyears; once in 4wd, I feel very solid. I will see as these break-in a little more with more miles how they hold up.

I've got them on my 4runner, they are too worn out for me to trust on-road, but they are better than the few other A/T's I've had as far as road noise and handling.

They seem to be working well overall! I drove through some deep snow and chains required section last week, and I had no problems at all (besides the lack of weight in the back-end).
