I don't have that set up for my dual batteries but, 2 group-25 batteries, on the factory battery mount is a terrible idea. Thats 95 to 100 pounds. A group 31 battery is 75 pounds and if you search here you will see the many stories of stress cracks developing with group 31's in that spot. Add another 25 pounds and your asking for trouble IMO. I had to remove my group 31 that was mounted in a proper cage after 200 miles off road due to cracks.

^^^^^ Agreed. This is probably the worse type of kit out there. A lot of weight in an area with some thin sheet metal supporting the battery.

Depends on the type of off-roading you do. If it's slow speed stuff it's fine. If you're out west doing hard miles on washboard roads you will get stress cracks.
