Getting a new lift, tires, and wheels...

Hi Everybody,

I'm new here, this is my first post, I'm getting a 3" Toytec Ultimate Lift, 285/65/18 Nitto Trail Grapplers, 18's Rockstars, and should have my truck done and back by tomorrow! Long story short I've had my 4runner for about 2 years, and finally decided to customize it thanks to coming across this site and seeing all your cool trucks!! There's a lot more I wanna do, but it will probably take some time. I'll try to post some pics tomorrow after I get it back. Thanks again for the inspiration from seeing all your trucks!!

Thanks everybody!! Ok here are some pics, but they were taken real quick with my iphone, didn't have much time. I will try and take some better ones later. I wasn't sure how much higher it would feel with a 3" lift, but with the new tires too it feels way higher and I love it!!!

Thanks!! It rides really well. I like the ride better than stock. Here are a few more pics taken with my iphone. I can't beleive how much different it looks with the lift, wheels, and tires than when I had it stock.

if i remember correctly the ToyTec ultimate lift is coilovers which allow for 3" of lift to be cranked out of them. Obviously will still make the ride a hair rougher, but i am very interested on ride, especially without aftermarket UCAs.

Krupnation, I have a very light shade tint on the front windows, but wanted to get it darker. I'm just a little nervous though cause I used to have another truck with tinted front windows here in the Bay Area and got ticketed a couple of times and had to get it removed.

Vlafrank, LTDSC, it is definitely a stiffer ride compared to stock, but I like it. I don't notice it too much on decent roads, but on pretty bad roads with a lot of bumps, holes and not paved that well it gets a little more bumpy and a little rougher. I used to have a GMC Sierra with a 6" RCD lift, and a 3" body lift, with 35's mudders and I would say that ride was a little more rough than this ride.

And the next and biggest mod ever is on the way! Getting rid of the ugly dealer license plate frame and replacing it with this one!!

So after doing some research I decided to get some Light Racing UCA's. I'm getting them installed right now and it should be done this afternoon. I also got a Pioneer AVIC-z140bh nav installed with a backup cam and it's awesome. You can play Pandora from your phone on the deck and some other apps which is pretty cool.
