Getting New tires, rims, & left (Need help!!)

Your new wheels look awesome! I love the look. I have the same issue as you regarding XREAS and wanting a lift. I wanted to get the Toytec ultimate, but that means I'd have to rip out the XREAS (only have 45k on em) or get the cheaper alternative, spacers.
Hmmmm.....I can't make a decision! Are you going to keep the XREAS til it goes bad or you have an issue and then do a whole swap on the suspension?

You can replace the XREAS with OME or Bilstein stuff & rear spacers or coils for a good bit cheaper than the Toytec. Expensive adjustable coil overs are the best option, but cheap spacers certainly aren't the only alternative.

i have the terra grapplers now, same size as yours. i think my next set will probably be the trail grapplers. mix between the at and the mud tires. please let me know how the ride is, sound and feel. LOVE THE LIGHT BAR. i have been thinking about getting the rock lights just to have some fun with them at the dunes but those front mount lights are actually useful. i have done some major changes to my ride in the last couple of weeks and am about to add the final touches with mounting my air gauge for the air bags and the tranny temp gauge. i am going to try and mount them where the cig lighter is and leave the push flip to open lid in place. we shall see how it goes. changes were: tranny cooler, fj swap, billies all around, fronts set at 1.5, air bags in back. new hitch, trying to get everything ready to do some towing to the dunes this year. i had 65k on xreas and it still worked but the front was getting really, REALLY soft. the change was amazing. totally a different ride. i got about 2.5 lift up front and .75 to 1 in the rear. i just ripped the xreas out..haha. happens. good luck switching from the 22's you will start changing everything just like everyone else on here. its a sickness i swear. it is for sure a snowball effect. if you have questions, as you know everyone on here is really helpful. you were the first one to help me with blacking out the headlights. HAVE FUN!!!

Lol I actually changed it a little over a year ago, I had a tag that said 4RUNNER for a few months and then I got a PBA tag.

What tire/size did you end up going with? I'm thinking about keeping the SportEdition 17's and just plastidipping them black...Still debating!

I went with the 265/70.. if I still had my stock wheels I probably would have put these tires on them but I sold them a while back..

For now I'm going to keep the XREAS, but in a few months I guess I'll do another spacer lift and get the Cornfed 3/2 and sell my current tires and get some 285's.

Overall the trail grapplers are a little bit rougher, mainly when coming to a stop or accelerating. The ride is not bad at all, there's a small humming and that's really it. For an overall ride they are great, I would highly recommend them. What did you replace the XREAS with, did you go with OME?

i found a guy in florida with some brand new, 300 miles, springs from a fj cruiser. i bought bilstein shocks. i set the front at 1.5 inch lift and the rears aren't adjustable. overall the lift in the front was 2.5 inches and the rear is settling right at about .75 inches. i had a 2.5 inch rake to start with so it is very close to level now. the ride is amazingly different. so much better cornering. it feels a little more trucky if that means anything to you but not enough to really notice unless you are under 20mph. i live in phoenix area and 20mph is just about driveway speed. haha. i still have to do the sway bar bushings but hopefully that is the last of the mods for a while. i am trying to buy a light weight toy hauler to go to the dunes with. that is the reason i told the wife i was adding some things to the 4 runner..lol.
