Getting P0710, P0712, P2740 & P2742 codes after sitting for almost 2 weeks.

My '04 Sport V8 just started throwing these codes after sitting in the garage for 2 weeks.

P0710 - Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor Circuit
P0712 - Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor Circuit Low Input
P2740 - Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor B Circuit
P2742 - Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor B Circuit Low

My first thought is to check the wiring connections for corrosion but have been unable to find out where these sensors & their connectors are.

Can any one point me in the right direction? Thanks

I think you're on the right track thinking about checking the wiring connections. The transmission fluid temperature sensor and its circuit might just be playing hide and seek. Usually, these sensors are around the transmission area, possibly on the side or near the pan. Start by following the wiring leading to the transmission to track them down. Once you spot the sensor, give the connections a once-over for any corrosion or loose wires. A good cleaning might sort things out.

Also, considering your ride's age, it might be a good idea to take a peek at the condition of the transmission fluid itself. Over time, the fluid can go south and mess with sensor readings. Check the fluid level, color, and smell. If it looks off or has a burnt smell, it might be time for a fluid change.
